About Rivendell CL in Pembrokeshire

Rivendell CL is in the heart of the quiet rural village of Reynalton, yet only 5 miles from the beautiful sandy beaches of Saundersfoot and Tenby.

There are plenty of walks directly from the site itself, a popular one being the Miners Walk which takes you on the route of the old coal railway which used to run from Saundersfoot to Reynalton. Another good walking spot is Templeton airfield, a disused wartime airfield with lots of walking opportunities. Charlie’s Restaurant and Bar in the Croft Holiday Park on the edge of the village of Reynalton itself, is within a short walk so you can enjoy an evening or lunch time treat or home cooked Sunday lunch.

In the next village of Jeffreyston which is only 1 mile away is a traditional pub Jeffreyston Inn also serving good food. Another pub/restaurant which is less than a 5 minute drive away is the Boars Head in the village of Templeton.

A short car journey takes you to the bustling village of Saundersfoot with its beautiful sandy beaches and varied pubs and restaurants. A short drive further on lies the popular walled town of Tenby with its picturesque harbour and range of shops, restaurants and galleries within its quaint cobbled streets.

To the north is the historic market town of Narberth famous for its boutique shops, antique stores and delicatessens. The family attractions of Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and Blue Lagoon Water Park are all within a ten minute drive.
